Metronet Morley Station - Morley, WA

Morley Train Station is situated on the boundary of Embleton and Morley in Perth’s northwestern suburbs. The station lies within the median of Tonkin Highway at the Broun Avenue flyover and forms part of the Ellenbrook line on the Transperth rail network. A key component of the project was the construction of a new bus interchange above the bridge, providing connectivity for passengers to the nearby Morley Galleria shopping precinct.

Project Design Brief

The project required pedestrian thoroughfares linking the station platforms, bus interchange, and Morley Galleria shopping precinct. To prevent ponding a shallow drainage system using stainless steel channel was required to fit within the paving screed and provide multiple outlets. Grates also needed to meet pedestrian safety standards, including wheelchair access and slip resistance.

ACO's Solution
