The Towers Elizabeth Quay, Perth WA
The Towers at Elizabeth Quay is situated between Perth’s CBD and the Swan River creating the city’s most exclusive and striking waterfront precinct. Located next to the newly constructed Ritz Carlton Hotel, The Towers represents elegant apartment living with spectacular views overlooking a cosmopolitan neighbourhood.
Project Design Brief
On the ground floor, designers wanted to protect the building from the elements. In particular, a drainage system was required across the threshold of several door openings to ensure any wind-blown rain or runoff from large downpours would not enter the building. With close proximity to the salt-water environment, all materials needed to be durable and grates also were required to be pedestrian friendly and slip resistant.
